Description

This seminar explores British Renaissance tragedy in its various forms and contexts. Students will be invited to reflect on the genre of tragedy in general, and they will widen their understanding of the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods when the genre of tragedy in its specific variants of the time was much in demand.
