Information for ERASMUS Students willing to participate in Project Management:
The course is limited to 25 ERASMUS Students. An application of ERASMUS Students via email to Michael Räckers (michael.raeckers@uni-muenster.de) is MANDATORY! In case of more than 25 applications it will be first come first served.

| Voraussetzungen |
Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, da die Veranstaltung in englischer Sprache gehalten wird und auch die vorlesungsbegleitenden Leistungen in englischer Sprache zu erbringen sind. Die Abschlussklausur kann wahlweise in deutscher oder englischer Sprache verfasst werden. Die Aufgabenstellung der Abschlussklausur wird jedoch lediglich in englischer Sprache vorliegen. |

Im Rahmen der Allgemeinen Studien können 6 LP erreicht werden:
Essay (ca. 4000 Wörter) als Gruppenarbeit, 20-minütige Gruppenpräsentation und 120-minütige Abschlussklausur |
| Lerninhalte |
Project Management includes the planning, execution, and monitoring and controlling of projects.
The lecture Project Management provides basic knowledge of (IT) Project Management and addresses the entire project life cycle / project management process. Besides introducing and integrating the distinct phases of the project lifecycle, current methods and tools for project management are introduced. Tutorials and Assignments allow for repeating the contents of the lecture and applying project management methods and tools in a problem-oriented way.
Furthermore, guest lectures from industry representatives add to the practical applicability of the
lecture program. |
