This course provides students with an overview of senior IT/IS executives’ responsibilities in managing the adoption of IT in organizations. Lectures introduce the students to typical IT/IS management tasks such as strategic IT/IS planning, strategy implementation, or the sourcing and organization of the IT/IS function. The lectures will also acquaint students with methods and techniques to deal with these tasks effectively. Finally, in additional exercises, students practice the application of these techniques. Students have to prepare the case studies for the exercises in group work. The course will be held in English.

# Given the very positive feedback from last year, lectures will be offered as audio-video-podcast.
# The accompanying exercises and tutorials will take place in small-group settings in presence.
