The aim of this course is to improve students’ spoken English skills.
We will do this by examining the lexis, the sounds, and the rhythm of English systematically and in detail, by giving students the opportunity to hear and use the spoken language in its different forms and registers, and by providing students with important feedback and strategies to improve their own spoken English based on a recording we will do of them right at the start of term. Participants will be expected to actively take part. At the end of the course there will be a final oral exam.
